Thought maybe you guys would want a "must-see" list of Packer related things around town besides the stadium!
- Old City Stadium, where it all began. GB East High School.
- Glory Years Bar. The old offices of Lombardi. In fact, you can go in there and see his actual desk and office. They built the bar around it. Lots of cool memorabillia in there, too. Located on Washington St, downtown.
- Each sports bar has their own unique collection of memorabillia. Two that you can't miss are Gippers (University Ave) and Champions Sports Bar (behind the Hilton Hotel/Favre's Steakhouse).
- Brett Favre's Steakhouse. The food is ok, but overpriced and their service is slow. but GO THERE just to see Brett's own collection of trophies, pictures, etc. You can sit in the bar, have a drink and check it all out. They also have a decent gift shop in there, too.
- Fuzzy's. Located on W Mason St. Fuzzy Thurston owns the place and it's not uncommon at all to see him there. The entire back wall is nothing but 4 x 6 photo's of players, old and new.
(PIP, in exchange for camera lessons, I'll show you where Favre lives) lol
You guys are coming at a great time. The leaves are really starting to turn here and I think by next weekend, we will be near peak for the fall foliage.
