yeah, agree. If anybody does not have a problem with it, i think im gonna keep it there for a few days in hope that it would somehow force thompson to unconsciously act faster to sign Charles Woodson. Woodson would be a great additon to the pack, imo.

I actually don't mind the McCarthy hire. I've watched interviews with him, and I think he may have what it takes to succeed. My gut tells me I'd rather have him than Brad Childress. We'll see though.

Our natural tendency is to support everything the Packers do in the long term. Look at the draft last year; we were irate when GB grabbed Rodgers..........but within a week I think you were finding ways to justify the pick. Today I'm sure we'd both like to have that pick back.

Ditto for the hiring of MM. We hated the selection, but now here we are looking for ways to think it was a great hiring and even form a fan club.

I'm with Ziggy. Actually, there was a big difference between you and me on the hire - you wanted Childress and I didn't. I warmed to McCarthy after his first press conference and after watching video of him interacting with some of the Packers players. I think it's a good sign that a lot of guys seemed eager to come back (Longwell and Grady, notwithstanding).
