I am reminded of Adam Timmerman.

When he signed his first contract he bought a piece of farm machinery for the family farm. The boys in the locker room were laughing at him.

After a fine career starting over 200 consecutive games who is laughing now.

    Character matters.

No DUI, No running off, No charges (yet).
"IF" any are filed, they are mistormeanors(sp) and maybe a small fine, so what ! Quit
OK Before I thought you were actually dumb. You might have just tipped your hand with this spelling error. A cop would know how to spell misdemeanor.

I call BS on these spelling issues.

He did it because he was drunk. He apparently will get away with it. Any cop could see through this.

Briggs: I panicked, reported car stolen

LAKE FOREST, Ill - Chicago Bears linebacker Lance Briggs said he panicked after he crashed his new Lamborghini along a highway early Monday morning and initially reported his car stolen after abandoning the mangled vehicle.

Briggs, speaking to reporters after practice on Tuesday, said he called a tow truck after leaving the scene and then reported his car was stolen.

"When it happened, the first thing I did was, obviously, I panicked," Briggs said. "I didn't want there to be a big scene there. And so I left the scene. When I left, I called the tow truck. I also was startled, and I called to report that my car was stolen. Within probably 10 minutes, I called back and accepted responsibility for what I did because it was ridiculous in the first place."

Illinois police found the abandoned vehicle, which had hit a light pole and a concrete bridge support, alongside the Edens Expressway on the city's North Side around 3:15 a.m.
"There's a lot of interest in the draft. It's great. But quite frankly, most of the people that are commenting on it don't know anything about what they are talking about."--Ted Thompson

^ Yep. Anyone who doesn't see this is ignorant. He saw his 7.9 or however many millions flash before his eyes and he bolted. Ultimately it was probably a smart move for his bank account.

They actually do have a long history of malfunction. They're cheaply built considering the cost. They don't even use stainless steel screws anywhere.

very eye-opening site as many have died because of similiar problems that go unfixed.
              Darn you, Partial!

I was just about to take out a second mortgage on the family home to buy a new Lamborghini. Now, my wife won't let me buy it!

I, for one, would like to see filing a false report added to the charges. That's kinda serious shit to be telling the cops that someone ganked your $350,000 car. I don't care if your agent told you 10 minutes later to call again and tell them it wasn't stolen, you're a drunk liar who can't even drive worth a shit.
