packers 21-10, and bearman shouldnt you be trying to smuggle stickum up to halas hall to help out the gross man? heh
Rex is Rex, Good Rex or Bad Rex, Da BEARS will win with either !
I always enjoy winning a bet, but I'm gonna take particular pleasure in winning my online $200 Charger bet, and ya know what I'm gonna do with some of that cash Bearman? I'm gonna buy myself a Kampman jersey.

Sorry, can't drink the kool-aid. The Pack hasn't provided me any indication that the ZBS is working and that they can run the ball. The Eagles will pin their ears back and Favre will be running for his life. I see a lot of 3 & outs, an Eagle interception or two and a very tired Packer defense.

        Eagles 20, Pack 13

I really, really hope that I am wrong!!!

            I say 21-17 Packers...

it's 17-14 late in the game but the king of 4th quarter comebacks drives Green Bay to victory

I just hope it's a good clean game, and both teams are still friends afterwards.

I was hoping for your prediction. You where close to the scores of the last few regular season games.
My prediction 30-0 first shutout in a long time. This is our HOUSE

I had the Titanic making it at 9 - 5.

Hmmm. A touchdown pass to a Packer TE. Honestly, I've forgotten what that look's like.............
No kidding! But, I've been very dry on the Kool-Aid intake, so I guess I need to start somewhere

The question is: What will this game predict for the rest of the Packers’ season?

According to the experts, the Eagles’ are one of the best teams in the NFL. They are favored by most to win their division. Their offense is solid. Their offensive line is one of the best in the NFL. Bryant Westbrook is one of the best players. McNabb can be great but is coming off an injury. Their receivers are adequate enough to do the job.

Defense is the Eagles’ biggest question mark. Their defensive line is adequate. Their linebacking corps is being rebuilt. Their secondary is a step slower.

The Eagles’ special teams have no real standout returners. Their kicker is experienced.

We all know what are supposed to be the Packers’ strengths and weaknesses. But the preseason is over. This game counts and will answer some huge questions:

                            1) Can the Packers’ vaunted defensive line dominate a top notch NFL offensive line and disrupt a solid offensive scheme by stopping the run and pressuring the QB?

                            2) Can the Packer’s linebackers and secondary break last year’s habit of giving up big, back-breaking plays to the offense?

                            3) Can the Packers’ young receivers stretch a good defense and continue their strong preseason showing?

                            4) Will McCarthy’s game plan shelve the running game completely and pass, pass, pass?

                            5) If McCarthy shelves the running game, will Favre be patient and work the ball downfield, or will he take the team on his shoulders and force the ball into coverage?

The answers to these questions will determine whether things have really changed significantly in Green Bay. The game will predict either an exciting, hopeful season or a long, frustrating more of the same.

I'm hoping the progress we've seen in the preseason is real. Last year we gained over a hundred yards on the ground against the Eagles, so I'm hoping McCarthy gives the running game a chance. If he does, it's Packers 24 - Eagles 10. (James Jones, special teams and our DL have a big game.)
One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.

Not like me to agree with Wist, but this time I think I have to:
                              Philly 24
                              Green Bay 13
Teamwork is what the Green Bay Packers were all about. They didn't do it for individual glory. They did it because they loved one another.

                                Score

Been looking at what the "experts" are saying and no one is even giving us a chance. It's all the same, "we have no run game".
