Poppinga cleaned up his coverage in the second half of last season.

He's a decent player, not as talented as the other two linebackers, obviously. It's good to have a big linebacker in the mix, I like having him on the team.

Then again, we won't know who the blue chip TE prospects are until the combine. I mean, who ever heard of Vernon Davis before the combine? Really, who's heard of him since?
