Norvel says this was the most complete game the Chargers played, but the spread offense. Favre's accuracy, and poor tackling caused the loss.

Losing Cam Cameron, Wade Phillips and Marty has decimated the team.

They'll never have another season like last year.

I wouldn't be burying the Chargers quite yet. It's early, and they are one tough football team. They played very well against the Packers. We just played a little bit better and had some very timely big plays to determine the outcome.

Looking at their schedule, they should be 4-2 at their bye week and I don't think 12-4 or 11-5 is a stretch whatsoever. I expect them to win the AFC West again and return to the playoffs, but we'll see.

Do you suppose Norv Turner got the job by promising to do for the Chargers what he did for the Raiders? :P

Vince is right, though--the Bolts have some very winnable games ahead this year and they could eaily bounce back.
