this is all very premature, but i was reading an article about favre's consecutive games streak and i think i have this figured right. if he comes back next year (which is looking increasingly likely) and makes it through the season, he'll have 269 regular season consecutive starts and the record is 270. i don't think he'd come back just to break that record but that would be the most amazing of his records if he could get it and it would be a shame to get that close...
