  • Wouldn't It Be Cool...

    if the team took the opportunity on Sunday night against the Bears to honor KGB for becoming the all-time Green Bay sacks leader? He may not have worked out as an every down player, but he is a really good specialist and he seems to have a great attitude. Give him a ceremony Packers since the stat was awarded by Elias mid-week and pushed him over the top.

    It would be well deserved and SHOULD happen. He's been a great Packer and an even better person.

      No.....I'll say it again..

      As great a guy and as good a player as KGB has been, HIS NAME DOES NOT BELONG AHEAD OF REGGIE WHITE'S ON ANY LIST.

      I wish they would go by career sacks on that list..We'll see how close KGB gets to Reggie's 198..If he passes that number, then I'll give him props (hint: won't happen)..

        Gotta respectfully disagree with you on this one. Don't care what a player does in the NFL before or after they are a Packer and thus sacks by Reggie as an Eagle means squat.

        I can't imagine anyone is thinking that KGB is a better life time NFL player than Reggie but to not recognize our all time sacks leader who has also been a Packer their entire career would be wrong. He's a class act on and off the field and deserves props.

          Sure, recognize him, but don't let him make a speech on national TV. He's not shy about saying the Packers are going to the Super Bowl. I admire his confidence but it might come off as a little cheezy.
          One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.

            DE 94 Gbaja-Biamila, Kabeer 2007 through 4 games.

            TCKL = 10 ; SCK = 4.5; FF = 2 and INT = 0

            He is playing very well this season.

            I hope he retires as a Packer. Makes the Packer Hall of fame.

            GO KGB.

              Yes he is playing well, and I'm almost positive he'll be a Packer Hall of Famer..As far as him retiring as a Packer, who knows.
