  • Someone tell me if Poppinga stays in his lane on the bear td run if they score. I seemed to see him jump inside and the running back went right by where he was....

I think Morency is a good football player. He looks a little slower than I expected tho.

Wynn is an even better football player , altho maybe even slower too.

      they'll do.

i'm fine with by committee. let em both see the field, and mix grant in as well. jackson is the only one who hasn't shown anything yet, imho.

        • I would like to see more hits on Griese by the DL. KGB has been in his face, but we haven't sacked him or made him regret suiting up tonight.

          • I like Morency.
            He shows Edgar Bennet-like intelligence.

            • Those fumbles were killers...but I'll take a 10pt lead into the half.

              A few key stats:
              GB: 102 yds rushing
Favre: 19/22 243yds 1TD 0 INT (includes a spike to stop the clock, has passed to 8 different receivers)
              James Jones: 2 Fumbles lost
GB 36 total plays (13 rush, 24 pass), CHI 26 plays (13 rush, 13 pass)

Anybody got the time of possession stats?

Here's hoping M3 makes some good adjustments and GB keeps smacking CHI in the mouth. A GB win would be awesome.

                    • well their no LT or LJ by no means but their gaining yards and making it count. Good job catching the ball and running with it and running between the tackles. I would give the running back group a grade of A- to A for the first half.

Ditto. Problem is that JJ's hands are TOO good. Most guys wouldn't have even caught those balls.
One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.

that would have been the preferable option.
