"There's a lot of interest in the draft. It's great. But quite frankly, most of the people that are commenting on it don't know anything about what they are talking about."--Ted Thompson
We knew he was there--I got a couple shots of his back but I did run into James VanDer Beek at the airport security. I thought the girl at the Cambria display was gonna wet herself over it. He was behind me in the "line" for security and was wearing a Packers cap...

“Breakfast at Tiffany’s,’’ not quite, but Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel stuck around town long enough to have breakfast at The Pancake Palace.
The celeb couple, who attended the Bears-Packers game at Lambeau Field the night before, was spotted early this afternoon having a late breakfast at the restaurant at 143 Military Ave. on Green Bay’s west side.
If local entertainer Frank Hermans hadn’t actually been there, he wouldn’t have believed it himself. The “SexyBack’’ singer and his “7th Heaven’’ squeeze were seated just three tables away.
“How cool is that? That’s quite the celebrity sighting,’’ Hermans said. “It was so cool, because nobody was bothering them.’’
Timberlake and Biel, along with another female companion, dined after the lunch rush, about 2 p.m. Hermans, who eats regularly at The Pancake Place, said only three or four other tables were occupied at the time.
Server Erica DeBeck didn’t get to wait on them, but her friend, Carrie Klatt, did. There was some initial doubt about whether it really was Timberlake, DeBeck said.
“But I knew exactly it was him,’’ she said.
She asked him if he would mind posing for a photo with her and Klatt and said he graciously agreed.
And what did he order?
“Stuffed hash browns, I think,’’ DeBeck said.
Hermans said a driver outside the restaurant told him the couple had stayed at the Radisson Hotel & Conference Center Sunday night and was flying out this afternoon on a private jet. He also said Timberlake had asked Packers offensive lineman Chad Clifton for the best breakfast in town, and he pointed him to The Pancake Place.
Star struck: The second-largest Lambeau Field crowd for a regular-season game - 70,904 - included musician Justin Timberlake, actress Jessica Biel and American Idol winner Taylor Hicks. Those three were on the sideline before kickoff and waited in the hallway as Favre, Nick Barnett and the rest of the Packers ran out of the tunnel and on to the field for pregame warmups. Timberlake and Biel cheered loudly as the team walked by.
Members of the small Timberlake-Biel entourage said the two didn't want to comment as they walked back up to their seats.
But Hicks, who was accompanied by WISN Channel 12 weekday co-anchor Caroline Lyders, was celebrating his 31st birthday. It was the first visit to Lambeau Field for the native of Birmingham, Ala., and Hicks is a Packers fan.
"Him being from Mississippi and watching Brett, he beat Alabama one year, I think," Hicks said. "And being from Alabama you hear about the Bart Starr connection. I'm a big NFL football fan and what a great way to spend a 31st birthday. This is my first visit to Lambeau. Being from the South, this place is a football Mecca."
Timberlake and Hicks chatted for a while. Also seen in the stadium were actors Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher. Stadium employees also said "Dawson Creek's" James Van Der Beek and "Days of Our Lives' " Deidre Hall were in Lambeau.
"I guess this is what happens when the Pack gets on a roll," Hicks said.
Hicks didn't sing the national anthem - that was performed by the University of Wisconsin marching band - but he has been busy enough. He just wrapped up a tour, has a new DVD coming out and his show debuted Sunday night on HDNet.
I saw Timberlake on TV. Thought he was going to sing the National Anthem, but then again the NFL was probably being nice just letting him attend a game after Boobgate. I didn't know all those other celebs were there. They sure didn't bring any good luck.
