  • Falcons released DT Grady Jackson.

    Falcons released DT Grady Jackson.

Jackson, who is likely pushing 400 pounds and sued the team in the offseason, had been starting for the Falcons. His release is a sign that the team has started evaluating players for the future. Rookie Trey Lewis will take Jackson's spot.

There's ex-Packers getting dumped all over the league today. Is it a special occasion or something?

Grady's biggest challenge is getting his weight under control so he does not die a premature death due to diabetes, heart attack, or stroke.

To hell with his health. Just sign him for the stretch run and use whatever he has left.

Do we really need more defensive tackles right now?

OK Just sign him for the vikings game then cut him.

I have gotten to liking the idea of the D having more firepower. When they get good pressure it makes them unstoppable. gravy would be 400lbs more pressure on top of that. I dont think it can hurt.

He was starting - I think he'll land somewhere for the rest of the season.

Would it EVER suck if Denver picked him up in time for next week's game!!@!

Nah. There isn't a plane big enough to get him to Denver. He'll have to go by way of those 340 ton mining trucks. It is a long way from Atlanta to Denver.

I think we should wait and see if he lives through the Halloween candy.

St Lou needs help in the DLine.

Gravy gets a bad rap. He's a great fat man for the middle. Somebody should grab him.

I wonder if someone will have to reposses his couch in Atlanta?

He'll be a Ram or a Bengal by the end of the season.
