This quarterback fumbled with 25 seconds left on a planned handoff to Larry Csonka; thena current NFL coach (who was recently traded) returned the fumbled ball for a TD to propel his team to a 19-17 victory. This occurred in 1978. Who was the quarterback?

Well, if I were a betting man I would say the DB was Herm Edwards, but I have no idea on the QB. I'm too young.

Nope, wrong team, and yes Herman Edwards returned the fumble.

Joe Pisarcik! I think I even saw that highlight the same day. I was 12 and was really into the Packers who were having a fun season with James Lofton being a rookie and Terdell Middleton rushing for 1,000 yards. I think they even tied the mighty Vikings that year to go 8-7-1 for the year.

Herm Edwards was the one who scooped up the blown hand-off (to Larry Csonka btw) and raced for the score.

BTW, if you've never seen the Joe Pisarcik to Larry Csonka botched hand-off, here it is from YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=090pEcveMIE
What were they thinking not taking a knee? I guess they didn't it back in the day. Csonka doesn't look like he knew it was a hand-off to him, and Pisarcik seems to get way to close to him. What an awful way to lose a game!

Arrowhead? Did you see that I had asked a question after nobody came up with Joe Pisarcik? It's a pretty easy question.

Gonna take a wild stab at this and say Arrowhead.
I have to assume this question includes pre-season, because I don't think he's ever won a regular season game in Philadelphia or Denver.

In the 2003 NFL Draft, the Minnesota Vikings ran over their alloted time and had to forfeit their pick, the 7th pick in the draft.

This is a 2 part question.

                              1. What team drafted in the number #7 spot and who did they draft?

                              2. The Vikings went on to draft in the #9 spot. Who did they draft?

BONUS: Name the other team that went before the Vikings in the #8 spot and name the player they drafted.

HINT: The team is in the NFC and the player was an OT.
