Can't throw a bomb when you have no time to take a 7 step drop. I wouldn't mind some screens though.

you're right...it's not. you asked why and i speculated as to why. it's easy to call the play stupid after the fact. i was speculating what their thinking was before the play. had it worked out we'd all be cheering......but wait...this isn't a cheering thread.

I have no problem running there. What are the chances of picking up 3rd and 22? I'd say it's a better chance of getting picked off.

Unfortunately, it's easy to call a play stupid in that sitauation before the result, given the game circumstances.
