    That's a good question.

Five Pro Bowlers is quite a bit. I could see Favre, Driver, Kampman, Barnett, and Woodson. Maybe one of the OL sneaks in because the Packers are doing so well this year. I thought Harris had a chance also, but probably not after the Dallas game. If KGB got to 15 sacks (unlikely now that his injury cost him at least a game), then maybe he'd have a chance.

Has a long-snapper ever been selected as special teams player for Pro Bowl? I've only ever seen the kamikazee guys like Steve Tasker.
Yes, long-snappers are often picked by the coaches, who I believe get one or two picks to fill out their squads. It was either last year or the year before that many thought Davis might make it, because the NFC had no one with any snapping experience. The coach picked his own no-name snapper who, as I recall, had been in the league only a year or two over Davis and several other NFC specialists who were much more deserving.

I guess what I should have said is I don't see the Packers with a lot of viable Pro-Bowl candidates. That is more what I was getting at. If five make it that would be quite a few, but I doubt all will make it. I think Favre and Kampman will, Barnett probably. Driver and Woodson probably have to do something impressive before voting ends in order to get in. With Woodson hurt, his interception total won't be anything significant, in all likelihood. Driver is kind of on the edge statistically in the NFC for receivers, floating at around #5 in both receptions and yards. He probably has a pretty good shot at making it, unless he gets shutdown the last four games.

Sometimes with the better teams you identify about half the team with a chance of making the Pro-Bowl, at least as an alternate. The Packers have those 5 and that is really about it. Next best chances might be Clifton and Crosby (if he leads the league in scoring).

I voted for Favre, Kampman and Woodson. Almost voted for Al Harris.

              Hey Packer fans.

Brett Favre and Greg Jennings, as well as Aaron Kampman are all obvious picks.

Nick Barnett hasn't played too bad as wel and hasn,t relaxed on that new contract. He's trying hard most games.
