    Two things I love:

    - Car analogies.

    - Reading things written by Cleft Crusty.

    Good read as always.

      Not bad, but:

Some say Millen is like the Ford Taurus of general managers—he keeps reworking and refitting the old model, but no one is buying it.
Partly right. I was building the Taurus. The car was only reworked a total of five times in 20 years.

      And still nobody bought it.

Very funny. I still remember when you (or whoever it was) made that Cliff post game and said it was real. I read that thing, thinkingn Cliff was off his rocker. I was thinking "Damn, Cliff is an ornary bastard, but he went too far this time"

Kind of how I bought that Ball Hawk was only 14. Man, I still feel like a total moron for that one.

2 things I notice about Detroit.

            1) They seem capable of beating the best teams in the league.
            2) They seem capable of losing to the best teams in the league.
