just another reason why mccarthy is gaining more and more respect around the league, he wants to give every look there is.. dont be surprised if favre catches a pass at some point

I wasnt really paying attention during that play and only realized what happened after the fact. Did it fool the defense at all?

I think they ran that play to set up a play later on where Driver pitches it to Favre out of that formation.

That's the only reason I can came up for running that play, at least.

I know that last year Boise state ran several legitimate pass plays out of the formation they ran the statue of liberty out of in goal-line situations, specifically to set up the Statue of Liberty in time of need. My guess is it's something like that.

A wrinkle will be Driver taking the snap, handing the ball to Brett coming on the end around who then throws the ball downfield.

With a big lead and close to the goal, Driver throwing a TD to Brett would get some highlights to show for awhile.

I still wish Ruegamer was not holding when Tauscher caught his.

Plays like this show the offense is having a lot of fun.

Anyone happen to see what Favre did on the play? The camera didn't catch it. I suspect he went out and tried to hit someone as he always tries to be part of the play. Favre at WR isn't going to scare anyone but I do see the double pass being a reality.
