I thought the coaching today was suspect. Why would you not play man-to-man? Al was getting burned left and right in the zone coverage. Why not let him play to his strengths?

Likewise, what was with the offensive game planning? Why was Favre taking deep shot after deep shot to start the game when the Cowboys had safety help over the top? So many of those passes were going into double coverage. I understand wanting to take a shot to keep them honest, but come on. They should have been running slants and crosses all day against this team.

A-Rod showed me that he can play in this league. He delivered a firm message to GMs around the league that he is ready to start when he took that Elway-esque blow to get the first down. He appears to have a pretty strong and accurate arm as well.

Ryan Grant is a stud. This offense is ridiculous when we're ahead. Just like Dallas'.

Harrell got great penetration on one of the few players Romo was actually hit. I think he took his man to the ground.

Bigby needs to get benched for those retarded penaltys.

I also thought the officiating was suspect. TO knew Al had the ball or he wouldn't have tackled him. Why was that not Packers ball? The side judge ruled that it was. Bullshit.

The deep pass interference calls are a load of shit. Any team that is winning a game can get an almost guaranteed huge gain by chucking the rock deep. The losing team knows they need to make a play so they play the man and try to break it up. 8/10 passes in this sitaution seem to result in PI.

WTF was up with some of those decisions Favre made? Was it the call? Doubtful....

The non int call early was BS but what are you supposed to do about it? All M3 could do was challenge the catch? Total BS..

We needed to stick with the ball control short pass game and we did not and that cost us.

Tauscher and Clifton had almost no chance on passing downs..Tausch has a bad ankle but both those guys looked like they were in concrete overshoes.

      Jason Garett owns Sanders.

They were mostly play action fakes...which had zero chance of working because there was no way that Dallas was going to respect the run. Those were terrible choices by McCarthy...even if Favre compounded it with throws into quaduple coverage.

Hell, Grant had a 60 yard TD run on 3rd and 1 because the Dallas safeties still weren't convinced we were going to run it even in that situation.

Collins and Rouse would be a formidable two-some.

I think Bigby is a fine player but he needs to sit a week and think about those stupid ass penalties. That, and remember to tackle at the knees instead of going for their shoulders.

Everything you said Dan is the exact same things I said at the bar.

Losing Woodson hurts but its no reason to stop playing bump and run.

                  Why?

Collins is merely average in coverage and can't make a big play whatsoever.

Rouse may have some potential...but I'm not going to hold my breath as long as the worthless turd is coaching the young kids in the secondary.

We need some safeties who can COVER somebody. You can't let people run all over in your defensive backfield uncovered because your safeties only know how to lay wood in run support.

                      BADS

                      Bush
                      He played like shit.

I know Tramon had that questionable interference call but I thought he played pretty decent. He also played well last week against Detroit. He has to be moved to the nickelback from here on out.

                      Colledge
WTF? Just when he seems to be making some strides he lays an egg. What is it with this guy? He has a couple bad games in a row, seems to get called out by the coaching staff, responds with a couple decent games, and then totally falls off again. This has happened with him a few times.

At this point, you can clean house at the S position except for Rouse. I'd keep him, I like his nose for the ball and his size. Collins and Bigby both can be upgraded.

Everyone on D except for Kampy and Pickett. No passrush, no coverage on the TE's, D penalties.
Oline was not real good in the first half protection wise

YOu guys are taking the safety play too far. The pass rush was non existant. If you give a good QB that much time, he'll pick apart a zone. Romo has weapons too.

The didn't play well, but it starts with the pass rush. I want to see the Packers with Williams and KGB back at pass rush specialists and Jolly/Pickett back in to stop the run. They're missing a lot of the versatility and depth on the Dline. It really hurt, esspecially when they have a LT that would have been killed by KGB. Let's see if they that that much time the next itme around and if they don't I'll be the safetys don't look so bad.

Next time we face Dallas, do we just put Bush on Owens man-to-man...and tell him to beat the crap out of him at the LOS while giving him another player in help over the top? Bush is a liability in coverage anyway, but with over the top help he should be able to cover Owens in the first 10 yards. Maybe he can at least succeed in harrassing Owens...and that will let Woodson and Harris shut down the other receivers.
