  • Underwood Practice Squad Eligible?

Does anyone know, is Marviel Underwood eligible for the practice squad? I believe he fits the criteria, but I'm not sure.

    Thanks,

He logged a full year of playing time in 2005. Wouldn't that make him ineligible?

Underwood is in his third accrued season. He played 16 games as a rookie in 2005, and was on IR all of 2006. Practice Squad players have to have less than one accrued season (payed full pay for six games), but if they have only one season they can be practice squad eligible again if their only accrued season was less than nine games. So a second year player who played 6, 7 or 8 games in one season can be on a practice squad.
