Green Bay - Here we go:
QB Brett Favre (elbow/shoulder) was back at practice and taking part on a limited basis. He threw about a dozen passes early in the session and didn't air any of them out. He did throw one nice 25-yarder. His ball looked fine. He spent the rest of practice either handing off or resting. Looked like a light day for him;
QB Aaron Rodgers left practice after jog throughs and did not return. We don't know the reason yet. I didn't see him throw a pass;
That left Craig Nall as the quarterback for most of the practice open to the media. Let's put it this way: if the Packers need Nall to play in a big spot this Sunday, they're in trouble. He looked very, very rusty. Most of his passes were inaccurate high and behind receivers. He also bounced a couple. That being said, the guy just got here;
CB Charles Woodson, RT Mark Tauscher, LB Tracy White, DT Johnny Jolly and TE Bubba Franks did not particpate in practice. Jolly was the only one not to attend practice. LT Chad Clifton left after jog throughs;
The starting guards for much of practice were Jason Spitz (left) and Junius Coston (right). Tony Moll was at RT and Daryn Colledge played LT;
The defensive backfield didn't have any changes. Aaron Rouse particpated more but was behind Nick Collins. Will Blackmon looks near full strength;
Witnessed a funny moment before practice when cornerback Jarrett Bush attempted to navigate the still snow-covered Hutson Center parking lot. With his cleats on, Bush couldn't stay upright as hard as he tried. He looked like he was on skates, was able to hold his balance for a second, and then fell on his rear -- much to the amusement of about 10 of his teammates. Although he was covered in snow, Bush was a good sport about it.
