  • Packer Rats mentioned on WSSP

The sub-title to this thread is "Peter Brown is a bottom-feeding, hypocritical,
    useless pond-scum Jack@ss."
On my way to work today, I (unfortunately) tuned in to WSSP, where I heard Peter Brown mention "our good friends at www.packerrats.com."
Among the things he blathered on about:
    * called out pack4ever for using a "nickname" - along the lines of he, the great Peter Brown, stopped using nicknames when he was 12. "Be a man and use your real name". This conveniently ignores the fact that he was on the phone to DD, instead of taking him on in person. What a gutless punk.
    * Was proud that he was "taking DD to task" on his contract. He then "apologized" because us unwashed and uneducated Wisconsin area fans weren't privileged to receive his brand of tough questioning before. He implied that all we had here before he arrived was a bunch of ass-kissing idol-worshippers.
    * Promised to take on Ted Thompson and Mike McCarthy, and called them cowards for not coming on his show ("when they take their panties off...", etc.)

The problem with Brown, and the rest of the talk-radio crowd, is that they'll always get the last word, and will twist and fabricate to make themselves look superior/intelligent/whatever.
As Nutz and others have pointed out, all he does is say the first negative crap that wanders into his peanut brain, in the hope it will generate controversy, and thus, ratings.
This miserable excuse, not for a human being, but for a life form on the place of this planet, needs to crawl back under his rock (BTW, he was in Chicago on ESPN, now he's on a second rate station in Milwaukee - nice career path, Peter!).
"What's one more torpedo in a sinking ship?"
    Lynn Dickey, 1984

"Never apologize, mister. It's a sign of weakness."
John Wayne, "She Wore a Yellow Ribbon"

WOW!, I made the big time. Doesn't he realize everyone on these forums use nicknames? I am even more impressed by him than I was before. Donald Driver put him in his place and he hated it.

By the way Mr. Brown, if you're still lurking, my name is Jim Waite, and you are still an ass.
Doughnuts, is there anything they can't do?

Yet ESPN still manages to suck even without him...I felt like posting with my new graphic.

Okay, Jim Waite and Scott Campbell. You think you're better than us anonymous gutless cowards because you use your real names and we use fake ones. Well, my fake name is Kiwon and I'm proud of it. See, I even wrote my fake name in Chinese for you. Go ahead and read it, Ki-won. I'm a gutless coward and I'm not ashamed!

pack4ever, I know nothing about this idiot's radio show, but I WOULD be proud if he mentioned my pseudo name on the air. You must be doing something right to get noticed. Good job!

Dude has never been on a forum before huh? Doesn't know how easy it is for someone to take information from you and really turn your life upside down.

Tough questions are cool, but it's one thing to ask a tough question and quite another to insult a guy on the air.

He laughed and said "You think your as good as Javon Walker?"

Sure, you could call that a tough question but what it really is, is a dumb question. What did you expect him to say. Driver said it himself. He said "I'm a competitive player, of course I think I'm the best WR"

Sure, it's a tough question but what it really is, is a pretty dumb question.

                  All time recieving yards

                  James Lofton - 9,656
                  Sterling Sharpe - 8,134
                  Don Hudson - 7,991
                  Boyd Dowler - 6,918
                  Antonio Freeman - 6,651
                  Donald Driver - 4,634

Driver, based on his previous production, will likely pass Dawler and maybe Hudson/Sharpe by the time his current contract expires.

                  All time receptions

                  Sterling Sharpe - 595
                  James Lofton - 530
                  Don Hutson - 488
                  Boyd Dowler - 448
                  Antonio Freeman - 431
                  Donald Driver - 329

If Driver averages 51 receptions per season over his current contract he will have passed Lofton as the #2 all time reception leader.

If Driver could play like Robert Ferguson, he would make it to #5 or better if he plays 4 more years. It's unlikely he'll play like Ferg so based on past production and his current amazing physical condition and starting role, he will very likely be the #3 reciever in packer history based on production. Driver stands a really good chance to make the Packer HOF. Also, He is clearly a legit #1 WR.

People want to make a case that Donald Driver is not a legit #1 WR. If Driver is not legit, who the hell is? Driver is one of 2 or 3 that was in both top 10's the last 2 years. Yeah, he's not a #1 like that idiot said on the air.

You mean Chad Johnson. Jackson was the rookie from florida that was drafted to N.E.
