It's amazing about Peter Brown. Just because he's caustic and sarcastic, he thinks he's good.

I've listened to him on one-on-one sports / sporting news radio as well. I'd take Tony Bruno, Tim Brando or Mike & Mike over that putz any day.

Read the transcript posted on jsonline's forum. Oh did DD put the beatdown on him! It's hilarious.

what a little bitch!! trying to bait Driver into bashing the Packers and Walker. If i'm driver i refuse to come on his show again and tell the rest of the team to boycott his show. then see where he goes!! one of the worst interviews i have ever heard!! I wish the feed would have continued to hear the callers after the interview, but i guess they can screen out all the neg. ones and only put the ones that agree with his opinion.

Whatever you think of his interviewing style, Peter Brown is no dummy. This is exactly what he wants - to bait us into discussing (and hopefully listening to) him.

WSSP thrives on being "controversial" - and by virtue of the fact that the station doesn't really have any competition. Personally, I don't like feeling p*ssed off all the time when I'm listening to the radio and driving in my car. So I had to give up listening to that particular station.

Did you ever run into one of those kids in grade school that would yell insults at you from afar, but when you caught them, they'd cry like a baby and say "I didn't mean it, I didn't mean it, leave me alone!" Then after you let them go, they'd run away and yell more crap from afar. Peter Brown reminds me of that kind of kid - hurling insults from afar. If he saw Driver up close, he'd probably soil himself.

Peter Brown once gave me Power Ball tickets when I actually agreed with him on the air that I enjoyed college football more than the NFL.

Everyone knows my distain for WSSP and Peter Brown, but if Peter is talking about national sports he is almost listenable.

It is one thing to be a homer, because those guys are pretty hard to listen to as well, but being the exact opposite isn't any better.

Many of you were exactly right. The man seems to bait his audience into hating him, for ratings. An old, effective marketing tool. Similar to our Bear troll fiasco last season. So be it. If the man wants to be known as an ass douche, that's his perrogative. He's laughin all the way to the bank. I welcome him with open arms to our forum. We need more villains around here. If this site was any more lovey dovey I'd have to start giving reach arounds.
