No doubt, but I am seeing some poor scheming by Sanders on defense.

        Bad decision Brett, Rams ball.
Yeah, Sanders seems asleep at the wheel with this gameplan.

        • Hopefully, MM will get them fired up at half. This is one game where I think they are really playing flat.

              • with 2 timeouts - WORK THE MIDDLE. Keep a RB in the back field and attack the middle with your TE and a WR on a slant. Even a draw would be ok with me. Get points on the board

But a timing pass into nowhere? - that one sucked, Brett.

                  • They look fine offensively short of the turnovers. I don't think they were dumb decisions just a bad pass and unfortunately a lucky hit.

Defensively they should be dominating the LOS and are not. They look tired and Kampman looks hurt imo.

I agree. They don't look very impressive on 3rd downs even. I have noticed Sanders even sending a blitzer lately but without much success.

They need to run more against the 3 man fronts when the Packers have the ball. The Rams realized they were sitting ducks with the constant blitzes so they backed off.

On defense, I would concentrate on shutting down Steven Jackson in the second half and make Woody and Al earn their paychecks. Playing zone will get them picked apart.

                        Oh, god, another Favre tribute.

The injury situation at tackle is showing up big today. Very little push in the middle, that allows them to double or chip the ends.

                          • The DL and LBs is way overpursuing regardless of what back in the game. The cutback lanes are huge. It seems to me that the Packers are going to have to blitz to get any sort of QB pressure on Bulger.

Hopefully the D is getting a severe asskicking by the coaches and MM for that putrid first half.
All hail the Ruler of the Meadow!

You HAVE to pressure Favre or you have no chance when he's on his game, which has been most of the year.
