  • Our D as a whole is pretty disappointing imo. They better get that fixed or we will be losing another lambeau playoff game.

I do think, though, that with Bulger and Jackson healthy and the OL playing to the extent of their ability (i.e. as well as they did today), the Rams have a better offense than: the Seahawks, the Giants, the Bucs, the Vikings, and the Redskins, who are almost certainly seeds 3-7 in the NFC.

I'm confused as to whether I even want home field for the Championship. Look at how New England played in shit weather today. If we are truly a more talented team, we don't want the elements screwing us. I know Favre can play in the cold, but what about all these young guys from the south, and what if it's really windy, and we HAVE to run it. Anyone watching the Giants/Redskins? Nobody can throw in that crap. Well, actually Favre's arm would still give us the advantage in the wind, because he probably could still throw all but the deep ball. I don't know. Either way, the best thing is, we are sitting out the first week and the bottom line is, if we win one home game this postseason, we are in the NFC Championship game. Unreal.

        • Some people on here are pretty ridiculous. This might have been the healthiest St. Louis has been all season. They have a lot of talent on offense, and we won... in all three phases... in their Dome. Enjoy the victory! It was a good one.

We held a pretty good offense to 14 points. Jackson is one of the top 3 RBs in the league IMO. Bulger is a top 10 QB, although I'm not sure he is still 100%. Holt and Bruce are still decent weapons.

I will admit that our defense really struggled in the first half...but they came out more focused and aggressive in the second half and really took it to the Rams.

              • That seemed to be the M.O. the last two weeks. The Packers were up 14-7 at half against Oakland at home and then made adjustments for the second half. I'm glad they can make those adjustments, but it would be nice for them to come out and take a team behind the woodshed to establish a lead and then keep the pressure on them.
