Anybody know of a good (and free) application to convert .flv files to .wmv, .avi, or other formats?

I've found links to these apps before. They said they were free, but the first one I downloaded required me to register at their site after I had converted a handful of files. The second one put their ad on the video--until I purchased their product. Thus, they weren't really free. I was hoping somebody had found something that was truly free."There's a lot of interest in the draft. It's great. Thanks for the feedback. I just tried WinFF. I converted one to .wmv file without changing the settings. The quality wasn't that great. However, there are options to change Video Bit Rate, Frame Rate, Video Size, etc. I'm not sure what I'd change it to though. The interface is a bit lame, but it will work. I'd like a bit better quality though. There's no help for it either. Anybody work with WinFF before?"There's a lot of interest in the draft. It's great. Best free converter I know of. Been using this for years. Converts just about any type to any type.
SUPER (Simplified Universal Player Encoder & Renderer)
