This Saturday, 3/15, I will be walking my eldest daughter down the isle.

Looking for any really nice toast ideas or any other special thoughts that the old dad could spring on her to make the day more special.

I cried when I was helping my little girl put her on beautiful white dress for her First Communion....thinking the next time it would be for her wedding. I get too sentimental sometimes.

I am sure that I will be slobbering at some point during the day.

And thanks for the link 007.

Don't drink, because I guarantee that you will make an ass of yourself.

This would be entirely inappropriate, but it is the most memorable toast I ever heard. At my cousin John's wedding, his best man toasted: " I would like to propose a toast of honor. John, once you get honor, stay honor."
            I can't run no more
            With that lawless crowd
While the killers in high places
            Say their prayers out loud
But they've summoned, they've summoned up
            A thundercloud
They're going to hear from me - Leonard Cohen

Yes, coming from the father of the bride, this would be just a tad inappropriate.

Congratulations Badgepack! Have a wonderful time......enjoy.

I'm sure whatever you say will be cherished (unless you announce that you hate the bum).

                  Congratulations.

                    Inappropriate.......but memorable.

You're only supposed to keep her chaste until the wedding. After that she can have a good time...it's the only way you get grandkids.
