I kind of liked the Beatles song. But watch those videos of David Archuletta. He is an awesome, awesome singer. If he had any sort of personality he'd have it on lock down

My mom likes him. For some reason, I just don't get into his type of music.

Nor do I, but he is an amazing singer.

Chris Daughtry was a WAY better singer. This guy is so gimmicky. I like the guy with the dreads and the weird face better. He is far more naturally charming, has the big smile that girls like, and isn't a jerk or a Daughtry wannabe. The whole instrument thing is really dumb and deters from the competition.
I never really thought Daughtry was that good of a singer. Eliot Yamin was a pretty good singer, IMO.

Ok now you're talking crazy. Elliot was a good singer but I think there are many people that are still convinced Daughtry would have won and something was fixed. My girlfriend called upwards of like 20 times and she said the line was always busy. Plus, if you followed the show closely you know he was clearly the front runner and it was a true shocker when he was
"voted" off. Dude has talent and charisma. His version of dead or alive is one of the best musical performances I've ever witnessed.

Anna is warming up to this Dave Cook. I don't like him.

They have at least one rocker on the show each year. I grow weary of them by the first few weeks. They all sound similar. Daughtry was a fantastic performer. He was a good singer. There's a difference.

Calling an Idol performance one of the best musical performances you've ever witnessed is kinda like going to Taco Bell and saying that soft shelled taco was the best authentic Mexican dish you've ever had. Or those French Fries at McDonalds might have been one of the best Franche-Comté dinners you've had the pleasure of tasting. And don't get me started on the classico Italian dishes at the Olive Garden. Soup salad and bread sticks with a tall coke. You don't get more true Tuscan than that.

OK. I disagree. I think he was one of the best they've had yet. I also think this kid is the best pure singer they've had yet by a landslide. He needs to pick better songs and get some charisma but he has a male aguilera voice.

He does need to pick better songs, or rather, pick better songs himself. Since he's so young I think he's easily swayed by the coaches, contestants, etc. The kid can definitely sing, he just needs to get it together.

Constantine busting out My Funny Valentine. One of the best performances that I can remember on American Idol. He was a great singer.

Awesome performance by Bo Bice. His voice reminds me of a much better Chris Cornell.

                      Another good bo one

Bomb ass performance from Carrie Underwood

                      We always need Pat Benetar.

Chris Daughtry's rendition of Walk the Line. I guarantee a million chicks immediately removed their panties and threw themselves at him. Hell, I think he looks hot in the cash attire.

                      bad ass

He sounds better than the mastered version of the song.

                      Bon Jovi

                      Mancrush

                      omg listen to this guy.

Listen to how in tune he is. It's really impressive. Never flat on his high notes. It's really impressive.

The kid is really good but he needs to stop having his Mom pick his songs. His selection is downright awful, but imo he has the best voice Idols ever had.

I admit, I was impressed when David sung the Long and Winding Road. Actually sounded like McCartney did it.

Bo Bice was awsome. I think David Cook is up there too.

Your man crush on Daugerty is strange. He's not that good.

Daughtry has a good voice, strong clear and on key (as far as I can tell), but I was never tempted to toss my panties anywhere...

Constantine and Dougerty sucked. They were completely average guys who appealed to women.

Cook is really good. Bice was a good rocker too. That beautifull clean Clay Aiken, David Archuletta stuff just doesn't do it for me. It's impressive to listen to because it's so clean and pure but it's really boring and not something I would ever listen to just for enjoyment.

Without a doubt I think there are some really talented folks that have come through the "IDOL" door.

But they are doing covers of others who have performed these songs, in a way all they have to do is perform a copy to sound good.
