Today was the first time I'd ever heard of Miley Cyprus. At first I thought it was the name of a Greek nationalist punk band. Then I began to wonder, Who in the world would get all worked about about some teenager whose name is Miley Cyprus???? I guess I'm too old, and my kids are too young--she kind of landed in between generations at my house. A near miss. But seriously, what's the big freaking deal? Have we become a nation of puritans? Oh wait...

You would have heard of her if your girls were older. My 13 year old follows her quite a bit. My daughter played a song by Cyrus for me. Her voice is actually pretty good, IMO.
Do they watch "Hannah Montana?" Cyrus is the star of that show.
