They're from Texas, and yes, they did perform at and win a grammy a few years back.

Just skimmed through a few songs on nepster. It is ok to me. I am not a big fan of love songs. I just downloaded Staying with me, even though it is a love song. How ironic?

You also may not think that much of it because the sound is from before your time. It has a definite classic rock vibe.

I know what you mean. My favorite love song is "Rock you like a Hurricane" by The Scorpions.
