WISCONSIN DELLS, Wis. — Wisconsin authorities say an Iron Mountain, Mich., woman tried to get out of a drunken driving arrest by offering sex and $10,000 to a police officer.

Witnesses called police last Friday when they saw a suspected intoxicated driver with the Michigan license plate "TROUBLE" leave a Wisconsin Dells parking lot.

A criminal complaint said 30-year-old Elizabeth Ann Kommes was given a sobriety test, was arrested, then made her offer.

Kommes is charged with drunken driving as a fifth offense, bribing a public official and driving with a revoked license.

A message was left for Kommes at her Iron Mountain residence on Wednesday.

I think the cop that turned down an offer that good should be removed from the force. Honesty is a good thing, but we don't need morons in the police.

I don't know, if she was that quick to "take one for the team", that's a scary thought.

            FIFTH OFFENSE?!

A putz that friggin' stupid deserves a ton of jail time. She needs to get her head out of her ass (and the bottle) because her priorities are all mucked up.

                  Here's another story on it:

Other than her grinning mugshot, here's the freakiest part of the story:

The complaint also stated that Kommes told the officers she was on probation in Michigan for possessing three pounds of marijuana and that she was concerned that another arrest would land her in jail for violating her probation.

Mmmm-hmmm. Bribing a cop wouldn't cause any trouble there, would it? :P

You would have to check for open alc, and if you found some, pound it, pound her, pocket the 10G, and don't tell your friends.
