  • Finding Jesus

No this is not a preachy religious thread, far from it.

Why are people, and the media that follows, so conviced with finding Jesus in everyday items? Looking on cnn.com today I find this....

Yes, she found Jesus in the fur of a cat that made shelter in her garden.

Combine this with people finding Jesus in Cheetos....

And people selling sandwiches with the Virgin Mary on eBay and making insane amounts of money on it......

I'm not calling these people fools, believe what makes you happy, but why does the media and others continue to have on obsession with this? I'm sure I have a few things that look like Jesus in my house, if I looked hard enough.

Doesn't the world have better things to do than looking for the son of God in a cheesy flavored snack?

Yet, those finds have little to do with the biblical description of jesus. Funny how that works.

As a kid in Catholic grade school, I always found it difficult to see Jesus in the painted pictures on the wall. Despite the fact that he lived in the Middle East, Jesus always had blue eyes and dishwater blond hair in the pictures.

It is frightening how many jews/semitic people have blue eyes and blond hair.

Yeah, but having a guy that looked like Eugene Levy nailed to a cross doesn't scream "world religion."

Bleached hair and colored contacts don't count. JAPs are the #1 threat to human existence.

How do you know when a Protestant girl has an orgasm?

                        She moves.

                          I can't run no more
                          With that lawless crowd
While the killers in high places
                          Say their prayers out loud
But they've summoned, they've summoned up
