Dear Blogg,

And so another day has passed. I am too shy to ask the pretty girl in the marketing department out. I am afriad of getting turned down. I've been turned down before, i know, but this prettty girl could be the one. Sometime i am confused between love and sex. I dont know which one i want more.

I am absolutely not attached to ugly girls. I like nice looking girls. I am not going pay for sex. No way jose. I have studied opportunity cost and that would mean sacificing, likely, 2 weeks worth of drug money for what, a night with a whore? I've seen Pretty Woman but that movie convice me nothing. I like my sex free.

There is no such thing as free sex. It's just a matter of how you pay.

Oh, if you're dating, you normally get three free rides. But then the expectations and demands start. Are you really ready to change, Tank?

And lets say you are swept along, decide to commit to the full package. Are you aware that there are two (2) ring purchases needed to close the deal!? A diamond engagement ring is just the down payment. Six months later you're buying a gold one.

Before you know it, you're driving a station wagon full of kids smearing popsicle sticks on the window.

Tank, how is the "opportunity cost" of that pretty hooker looking now? You can go top-shelf call girl and still come out way ahead.

Thanks for the wise words, Harlan. But I believe there is a better alternative: single night stands. I did some research on the cost of certain "call girls" and the price ranges from $250-$450 for half an hour. I am in a college environment, so there's plenty of horny girls looking for experience. Say dinner for 2 cost $20, two movie tickets cost $15 and hotel room cost $80, altogether equals to $115. That's more economic than hiring a prostitute.

Of course if your goal is to get laid, then hiring a prostitute might be the better option since not all girls are willing to have sex on the first date. But as a man of virtue, I'd rather take my chance than have sex "unethically."

Yes, but not much. When you take into account the fucking high cost of living in DC, there isnt much leftover. But i should have enough to buy drugs (note: although i dont do it every day, I love to experience the high of coke-can)

Either things have changed a lot or the college I attended was just pretty wacked. When I did my internship I worked 40 hours a week, no pay and was on call on weekends whenever the person I was following was on call. It lasted an entire semester. I see people coming in to do internships where I work and they only do a certain amount of hours and they can just make their own schedules. To have money to live on I bartended and waitressed 4 nights a week ....after my "regular" job....internship. I was fried at the end of that last semester.

I've been busy all morning with entries, so therefore, I was not able to post on here. I met the pretty girl whom I like liked in the break room. Our conversation went someting like this:

Me: Hey Angela (not her real name), what is up?
