I just bought it for PS3. Anyone else have it? I've been on some forums and it seems to have a freezing problem..I've had it happen 2 times. Hopefully you'll be able to download a patch later to fix it. The graphics are awesome. The gameplay takes alot of getting used to. Also, they did away with the player introductions. I've played 5 games so far with the Packers. Rodgers has had to leave the game with an injury every game. Hope this isn't true of real life. All in all...it's a pretty good game, not sure if it was worth all the hype, though.

Madden games haven't lived up to the hype for at least 5 years now. I'm glad to have moved on to other titles that actually do make good on bettering their product with each new release.

Most of the freezing problems I've heard of come relating to the CE for the PS3. No freezing issues on the 360, as far as I know.

I'm not one to demand every little detail from Madden. Give me a fun, enjoyable, and challenging football game and I'll buy it.

DAMN!!!!!! I just started a season....MNF against the Vikes. I rushed for 20 yards with Rodgers and he got hurt. Brohm came in and I hit a wide open Ruvell for a 40 yard bomb TD....then Ruvell did a Lambeau leap. That was awesome.

Are the graphics an upgrade over last years? I was underwhelmed with the look of the 08 game on my PS3.

Yes they are. They're a good bit better...especially the weather. The weather (snow, rain) is the best I've ever seen. Before each game...there's a shot of the stadium as well. Lambeau Field looks pretty good. I'm beginning to like the game more and more as I get used to it.

Looks like I've got Brohm for 3 weeks as Rodgers is out with a hamstring.

Research it b/c LOTS of people hate the game. I don't want you to buy it b/c of what all I've said. I like it, but you may hate it. My suggestion to you is to rent it for 3 bucks instead of paying 60 for it. If you love it, buy it. If not....what's 3 dollars?

I just got it today on PS3. I love it so far.

I bought madden a lot in the past.. but I havn't bought it the past 3 years. I like this version a lot.

I'm waiting for the Head Coach version. I'm old, so I like my games to simulate micromanaging without all that button pushing to make your guy spin or jump or shake his crotch in another player's face.
