Included in Madden's Collector's Edition. Have fun dropping $90 dollars on it.
I'm thinking they'll sell it separately as well. For 50 bucks instead of 60.

Got the game today from Target. First game beat the Bears 20-3 on All-Pro. Ruvell Martin had 3 catches for 40 yards and a TD.

And then, on Xbox Live, I was gonna beat a guy 2-0 (safety in the first quarter) and then my connection gave out. Comcast is such shit.

How's the defense in this game? That's been my biggest beef with Madden the past few years. Pass coverage has been awful. Defenders don't guard players who come in their zones at all.

All the 360 Maddens have underwhelmed me. 05 and 06 on Xbox were the best when you could make adjustments for every player on the field.

The game is definitely the best of the Next-Gen Maddens. 06 was horrid on the 360, 07 was underwhelming, 08 was mediocre. I like this year's game, from the limited time I have with it (4 hours)

My suggestion would be to rent it and then make a decision.

I thought that the game turned around "360 degrees," to quote Jason Kidd. The graphics are really awesome and the online play is great aswell. I just found that the running aspect of the game is a lot more difficult than previous years.

Pretty sweet game I just played. Vikes vs. Chargers and T-Jack throws a 22 yard pass to Berrian with 10 seconds left to win the game.

You can view the play here.

All I get is 9 seconds of the EA logo.

On an unrelated note, how dumb is it that MS and their developers expect people to pay money for these "themes" on XBL that are based on a game? Why the fuck would I pay them for the great honor of turning my display into a giant advertisement for their game? Am I missing something here? Like maybe the theme gives me a handjob if I stand close enough to the TV?

Madden's soundtrack is unbearable. Seriously, how much teen angst/screamo can one game have? My God, made my ears bleed.

Microsoft does some wacky things with XBL. Like having to pay, I think it's 10 bucks, to change a gamertag.

However, when this Netflix thing rolls out on the 360 that'll be very cash.

You can already watch netflix streaming movies on your 360 though a media server without paying more. That or you could just put the dvd in the machine. I, like 98% of other netflix customers, have never even touched the streaming movies tab on the site. America is not ready for or excited about streaming media longer than your average youporn clip.

I agree with that. I can't really sit at a computer screen for 2+ hours just watching a movie.

And doing that Netflix thing that you mentioned above....is that some technical stuff or is it basic?

I don't know all the details, but i use Windows Media Player's media server and it pretty much does all the work for streaming media to our 360, PS3, and notebook computer with minimal effort.

Here's the first google result that came up for more info:

Netflix subscribers, if you've got an Xbox 360 and a Windows Vista PC, you don't have to shell out $99 for Roku's Netflix Player box to get your W

Can't do it since I don't have Vista.

Well I played the new Madden and a PS3 for that matter for the first time last night. It was a ball. I'm completely inept on offense for the most part but I feel like they made defense much easier to play. In past madden's I would never even dream of not letting the computer play CB but I held my own.
