Some of the characters strongly resemble other characters from Yu Yu Hakusho. Megumi is very alike to Botan.

THIS ONE SCENE THIS DEMON BUM RUSHES A NICE TEENAGE COUPLE AT THE TOP OF THEIR FERRIS WHEEL RIDE WHIPPING THE DUDE OUT THE WINDOW .. THEN HE GRABS THE TEENAGE GIRL ... BRINGS HER TO THE TOP OF THE CABIN THING AND STRAPS HER ON LIKE UMM LIKE SHE IS ONE OF THOSE FLESH-LIGHT THINGS THEY ALWAYS HAVE ON BANNERS FOR TORRENTSPY OR SOMETHING... DUDE JUST STARTS PLOWING THIS POOR GIRL LIKE HE IS MOWING THE LAWN OR SOMETHING... RIGHT WHEN HE BLASTS HIS DEMON LOAD YOU SEE A PERFECT SHOT OF HER RECENTLY DECEASED BOYFRIEND WITH THIS HEAD HANGING TWO FEET UNDER HIS BODY BY STRANDS OF VEINS AND TORN FLESH ...... ANOTHER ONE WHEN THIS GUY DROPS THIS GIRL FROM THE TOP OF A SKY SCRAPPER AND THEN YOU SEE HER GETTING REAMED BY THIS INVISIBLE DEMON....ANYWAYS .. THIS IS FUCKED UP ....

Took a break and I'm watching the 2nd part now.

Since in Japan it is illegal to show genitals this movie relies heavily on the womb cam, which looks like an animated version of a colonoscopy.

Currently Takeaki is having a threesome with these chicks, even though he is surrounded with hundreds of dead demon corpses.

Over dramatic anime ending is over dramatic. Way to use the anime ending that has been used in every anime ever. The monster can't kill his target because of friendship. Then the monster shows his human side before dying. *sigh*.

Worth watching though, if you have an hour and a half of spare time. It's amusing, I guess.

It's part of my cultural studies. You know, if you study a country's films you get a jist of the country. Watch Ingmar Bergman's films and you understand that Sweden is full of devout Christians who enjoy playing chess. Watch Eisinstein's films and you understand that the Russians are some bad ass MF'ers. And if you watch Japan's films you understand that they enjoy things of a sexual nature, particularly involving demons and tentacles. It's quite interesting, actually, I suggest it to everybody. You really get to understand the people of the world.

NOTE: Actually, I'm a huge fan of Japanese film and this really doesn't represent them, only the freaky teenagers and 20-somethings. Most Japanese film is damn good. Kurosawa, Ozo, Koreeda, etc.
