After spending about 1/2 hour in the waiting room, Dr. Heiden actually apologized to me for the length of the wait! How many doctors have you had who apologized to you for a long waiting room time?
In vegas 30 minutes in the waiting room is considered early....they would charge you extra.

Kerry Walsh and Misty May-Traener--all things considered.

Seriously, though, Phelps has to be the best, given the level of competition and the lack of a letdown in all those events. And he probably will do even more in four years.

I'm thinking designer steroid...time will tell, but since I'm quite sure the record he broke was roid induced I have trouble believing he is just naturally that good.

I will agree with the Owens selection, except I'll point out that he won four golds - completely unheard of at the time.

The unprecedented athletic feat plus the international political tensions at play make Owens's performance memorable more than 70 years later.

Phelps was unbelievable - but I wonder if we will remember him in 70 years?
