It really doesn't sound to me like his heart is in it.
He did a great deal of studying--"read all the material put out by both candidates"--yeah right! And he came to the conclusion--after all that--that he should support Obama.
Ya know what, arguably, this Clinton uptick of pro-Obama activity could be construed as worrisome for Obama. Ask yourself, which is best for the Clintons, an Obama victory or an Obama loss? Loss, obviously. However, the Clintons can't afford to be portrayed as opposing the party's candidate or even dragging their feet in support.
It seems to me that Bill Clinton's "studying" and well thought out conclusion is NOT an ideological decision--where obviously, Bill, Hillary, and Obama are pretty much in lockstep. Rather, it is a POLITICAL decision. I would suggest that Ol' Bill now thinks Obama is NOT going to win--and that becoming more active in supporting him advances Hillary's chances of getting the nomination in four years. What could be more GOOD and NORMAL and AMERICAN than Packer Football?

He's referring to the admission by President Clinton that he lied under oath. His punishment was the surrender of his law license.Originally posted by packinpatlandFelon?
Since it was basically a plea deal, I don't think it involved a felony, though the charge was, and is, a felony for us "little people".
