correction...it does not NECESSARILY equal causation....in this case I think it has played a factor. Just like taller guys and guys with fuller hair get promotions faster...it is a documented fact of human bias. Just the way it is.

It is much more important that "she make herself" available for the STUPID questions of the media "discerning" whether or not she is qualified.

Eisenhower was bald. LBJ had less hair than Goldwater. Truman was pretty bald, although I don't know what Taft looked like. And W had a lot less hair than either Gore or Kerry. Bush the Elder also probably was less hairy than Dukakis, especially if you take a full body perspective.
