Knocking Sarah Palin, as elitist leftists are prone to do, is in effect knocking normal Americans--that huge majority of the population with views and values like hers. It's issue oriented/philosophically based--the same thing--in fairness --as when I refer to Obama a stupid or ignorant. It's not because he stumbles and bumbles and stutters something about 57 states in the U.S. It's because I don't agree with the way he wants to raise taxes, emasculate America's military, appoint judges who will promote depravity, let our guard down on preventing terrorism, disrespect Christianity, etc. etc. etc.

The difference is one succeeded at Harvard and one was at best a middling student. One got into the school based on merit, the other on his name. One went to grad school and was essentially top of the class, the other..not so much.

Obama makes one gaffe about states and you are comparing it to the legion of gaffes by Bush.

Yeah, I guess when he outsmarted Alice Palmer early in his Illinois political career it was just the quota. And I'm sure when he beat Alan Keyes that was also just because he was a smart black guy.....oh, wait, Keyes was black, too.
