  • O.J. Found Guilty

Will serve mandatory time and face life with parole. Now he'll never be able to hunt down Nicole's killer.

Hopefully the sentence is on the high side of what's allowed to make up for the botched murder trial. Then maybe we won't have to hear about this douche ever again.

OJ has no criminal record. He'll probably just have to pickup some trash along the highway.

        It's poetic justice at best.

It is amazing though that the decision came 13 years to the day of his murder trial acquittal.

OJ's had 13 years to play golf, to be treated at restaurants, to travel, etc. Those were years that should have been spent in prison as he has since all but explicitly confessed to the murders.

The majority African-American 1995 jury took three hours to find him innocent.

The all-white 2008 jury took 13 hours to find him guilty.

It is hard to imagine a time in recent history when America was more racially polarized than during the aftermath of the OJ trial of 1995. I am hopeful that those days are long gone and that even the cynics among us will be able to acknowledge that if the old recriminations of bias are largely avoided after this verdict that it will be a true testament of progress.

With O.J. in prison, we will not see any more 50 mph car chases involving a white Bronco!

Might he get whacked like Jeff Dahmer?
