  • Do You Remember...

When you used to get excited about something? Tell me about it. Pretend I'm a disillusioned old man on his death bed. Make me young again.

After lunch the players lounged about the hotel patio watching the surf fling white plumes high against the darkening sky. Clouds were piling up in the west… Vince Lombardi frowned.

I used to get excited about Christmas Eve--the time we opened presents when I was a kid.

When I saw Disneyland in TV shows as a kid growing up in Sydney. Before they had the Orlando park.

            Man....

And they used to do some TV show. They would show the globe and pick out some theme park from around the world that they were affiliated with. In Sydney, the park was "Adventure Land". I always got a lump in my throat when they picked that park.

My first concert - the local fav's, Skavossas, followed by Gravity Kills, Ben Fold's Five, then Foo Fighters with the Crystal Method closing. My ears were ringing the entire next day

Sounds like only Howard and Scott have been excited lately.

I have a kid...I still go to theme parks. Besides, I've been to a Packer game, so yes. I have been excited lately.

The last time I was really excited (blood flowing good without artificial assistance) was September 11, 2001.
One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.
