From the Rules and Regulations portion of the Forum, this is from Madtown (system admin):

Poster ranking:

These are the default rankings based on your post count.

0-49 post = Undrafted Rat

50-99 post = Rookie Rat

100-499 = Starter Rat

500-999 = Veteran Rat

1000+ = All-Pro Rat


Custom rat name:

After 200 post you have the option of choosing a custom rat name. Instead of the defaults you can have one like "Dirty Rat". It's your choice but it must contain the word "Rat" and not be the same as any other posters. You will need to PM or email your request to the administrator.

Ummm......I'm not trying to blow the whistle here so I won't name any names but I did notice a rat without 200+ posts and has a custom name.

Some of the original posters did get a custom name to start - I've got no bones with that. I believe the 200 post level came when the site started to receive a lot of new members.
