  • A Palin lynching is OK in Hollywoodland

I'm curious to see what OregeonPackfan, PIP, Ziggy, Tyrone, and Hoosier think of this? It was wrong and racist for those students in Oregon to do it to a Obama look-a-like. If the student in Oregon had to do community service then the people that did this should too. But wait, it was done in the spirit of Halloween, so it is ok. It's just a joke right? ice

So because some over the top liberals from West Hollywood on a news program say its OK, you're going to broad brush some posters here? The Obama one was fucked up and this one is fucked up. One is racist and stupid, the other just stupid. How about we make a mannequin of this guy's mom and hang her in the neighbors yard?

I'm a little confused by McCain coming out of a burning chimney. Is he the evil Santa Claus?

On a side note, West Hollywood is gay. Just completely on fire over the top gay.

You're just figuring this out now? I just had to drive through it once to learn that lesson...and I fully agree with the rest of your post as well by the way.

I don't even need to click the link to know that it's wrong. Lynching isn't funny...even mock lynchings.

Quite clearly in the article...the "culprit" is identified. Hmm, quite a difference tween what happened in oregon.

The "culprit" also acknowledges that only at Halloween would this type of macabre scene be permissible. Again, quite the difference.

You are welcome to find this offensive..or welcome to find it humorous or in the spirit of halloween.

But, to compare the two incidences is a bit foolish.

I guess you kind of answered the question for "us," huh? Next time if you want a heartfelt response just pose the question...and save the sarcasm for the postmortem analysis of McCain's campaign strategy.

I've been reading the political threads with a renewed intensity, I'm having trouble deciding who to vote for.

Thanks to all for helping to educate me.

I can't vote for the ticket that has that totally inexperienced bitch. So I'm leaning towards the republicans.

Glad to see that some are saying it's wrong no matter who the person is that is getting lynched.

Wow - that's just amazing that this double edge standard exists with such verocity. In the video, the 'artist' even said that if he had a noose around a black mannequin that it wouldn't be right.

But didn't you just say it was Halloween fun?

What a moron - I'm gonna drive by this dudes house and steel this bs.

Oh, and did you catch he had another mannequin dressed as John McCain emerging from a flaming chimney.

BTW - there were no other decorations, cobwebs, scarecrows, bats, gravestones, etc. What a fing joke.

                          Gay - very, very gay
