Has anybody tried either one of these? Are they any good? Any other suggestions......

For those of you in MN, this is a good one:
After lunch the players lounged about the hotel patio watching the surf fling white plumes high against the darkening sky. Clouds were piling up in the west… Vince Lombardi frowned.

I think Freak Out can probably tell you about the Belgian Red.

I've become a fan of Sam Adams Honey Porter. http://beeradvocate.com/news/902440

      I can't run no more
      With that lawless crowd
While the killers in high places
      Say their prayers out loud
But they've summoned, they've summoned up
      A thundercloud
They're going to hear from me - Leonard Cohen

The Belgian Red is tough to find but its good stuff. They make a raspberry one that's even better IMO.

When I was in Wisconsin for the Rats game I went to Discount Liquor and loaded up on both the New Glarus "Reds".....they also have all the unplugged line of beers from New Glarus. The Gal that buys all the specialty beers for Discount knows her beer and is very nice.

A very nice beer, worthy of three laps.

Also a good pale ale from the same folks

While I'm not much of a beer drinker, I do occasionally go for one of these...

Kudos on the thread title by the way. Nicely done.

Sure enough. When I first pulled up I was like WTF?...looks like an old run down grocery store...but when I got inside I was "whoa!" Very well supplied as far as beer goes.

Yep, its a nice place. In the back they have a little clearance bin that has some of the best deals I've ever seen. I always stock up on some of the 2-3 dollar bottles of wine they have in their that retail for like 12-15.
