I respect the Bible, but believing it's not been changed, twisted, misinterpreted, and flat out profaned by man, both intentionally and unintentionally, over the last 3000 years takes more than stalwart faith for me. Particularly, it takes a willful ignorance of history and theology. I don't see questioning the bible as a lack of faith in god, but a lack of faith in the church and man.

It's one reasons I don't put any stock in those arguments people make where they just quote a passage from the Bible, like it just spilled from God's lips.
