Whatever you cited, if an accurate quote at all, comes the dipshit's other book. If it is an expansion of the original designed to mitigate it, well, whatever. Even your quote, however, is pretty damaging, as he basically discounts the reasoning of American security officials, siding, rather, with the accused terrorists who have been--and should continue to be--locked up without the right of due process afforded to Americans.

According to reports at least 5 Americans are dead. One couple (a Rabbi and his wife) were killed in the Mumbai Jewish center.

Another pair were a father and his 13 year old daughter.

This had to take a helluva a lot of pre-planning to carry this out.

If this group is based in Pakistan, it means more animosity between Pakistan and India.

This is the real point here. The only reason I brought up Obama is that now, India, Israel, etc. are more likely to form their own coalition, knowing an Obama administration will drag its feet in combatting the Muslim terrorist enemy.

A clash of civilizations, however, is coming sooner or later, and India, with a billion or so people and its own nukes, will be a powerful ally against the forces of Islam.

Better sooner than later for that war, while the enemy can be crushed with far less retaliation than if we wait until they have more sophisticated weaponry. (Yes, I know Pakistan has nukes too, but Iran is the more significant threat with its attempts to obtain longer range delivery systems.)

Anyways, we'll have to wait a few days, maybe weeks, for more information to come out. I doubt that the terrorists were directly involved with the Pakistani Govt. One can only imagine what the Indian response would be if it was, though. 11 of the terrorists were from Bangladesh, which I found interesting. The other 29 were Pakistani.
