Why not find out what the dude is actually going to DO before making blind assumptions about it without no information to go on?

And by the way, gas is now at $1.79 a gallon, so I guess Nancy did what she said she would, didn't she?
I'm pretty sure I have attacked both bush presidents quite aggressively. But still, please tell me what it was he said would be the first thing he is going to do. Yes, I mock him without knowing what that position is because he is a liberal democrat and I know what he is going to actually do, just like I know what a "compassionate' conservative is actually going to do.

Most definitely. But does the Pakistani govt. want to risk the retaliation from India if India found out Pakistan was involved?

Sorry for the delay. A kick-in-the-balls loss like last Sunday sometimes turns me off to all posting for a few days.

I don't honestly know. Would you think me callous if I said I don't give a damn either? Actually, I am curious--especially as to what it might be that is relevant to this discussion.

Anyways, we'll have to wait a few days, maybe weeks, for more information to come out. I doubt that the terrorists were directly involved with the Pakistani Govt. One can only imagine what the Indian response would be if it was, though. 11 of the terrorists were from Bangladesh, which I found interesting. The other 29 were Pakistani. Some reports say it could be Kashmir-related, but we'll just have to wait and see.
I'm with you on that, Ballhawk. This is the same thing that got us Obama in the first place, though--people not giving a damn about serious foreign policy and security discussions where Obama is so weak, and diverting to less important crap that he can more easily sell to people.

If Israel and America are the top two targets of the evil Muslim enemy, then India would certainly be #3. There WILL be a clash of civilizations at some point--brought about because the enemy is pushing for it to happen. Unlike many Americans, I say "Bring It On!". India is the difference-maker in this grand struggle. The Muslim enemy may see some short-term gain in disrupting things there, but in the longer term, they will regret it.

Mumbai Massacre Proves Gun Control Works–for Terrorists
              by Bill Levinson

The recent massacre in Mumbai underscores the effectiveness of gun control laws such as those supported by Dianne Feinstein, Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Michael Bloomberg, the Brady Campaign, the Violence Policy Center, and others. India’s strict gun control laws were quite effective in killing more than a hundred innocent citizens and police officers, per “India Security Faulted as Survivors Tell of Terror.”

B.S. Sidhu, head of the Railway Protection Force for the Mumbai region, says that while some officers tried to fight back, there was little his force could do. Most police officers at the station — as they are throughout India — were unarmed or carried only bamboo sticks known as lathis.

Lesson #1: Don’t bring a bamboo stick to a gunfight.

At about 9:45 p.m., two gunmen, slender and in their mid-20s, ran up the circular driveway at the entrance to the Trident. They shot the security guard and two bellhops. The hotel had metal detectors, but none of its security personnel carried weapons because of the difficulties in obtaining gun permits from the Indian government…

Lesson #2: Terrorists and criminals don’t obey gun control laws.

The three policemen armed with guns drew them. The nine others waved their bamboo sticks. Revving the engine, the car tried to U-turn but got stuck on the median. The man in the passenger seat rolled out and started shooting, killing one officer and wounding another. The surviving baton-wielding officers jumped on him, knocking him unconscious. Policemen with guns shot the driver dead.

Lesson #1, repeated: Don’t bring a bamboo stick to a gunfight.

We have seen just how well gun control laws worked out for the innocent people of Mumbai, and perhaps it is time for the citizens of New York City, Washington DC, and Chicago to learn from the example and demand the repeal of their cities’ gun laws.

While I am obviously sympathetic to your pro-gun stance, that alone is far from the key to avoiding terrorist hits like this or worse. If they get close enough to where cops with guns can do any good, the situation is probably way out of hand, especially if some sort of WMDs are involved.

Actionable intelligence and pre-emptive wars are what has been successful since 9/11, and what is needed to defeat the terrorist enemy, and our president-elect has campaigned against both of those keys. That is why we will be damn lucky if we survive his presidency without something far worse than the Mumbai scenario in this country.
