Was it an Oskar Blues rep or someone from the local Distributors? I know Burc who works for them.....great guy. Have you had the Gubna yet? I've had the barrel aged Ten Fidy at the Portland Holiday beer fest....very nice stuff.Originally posted by Guinesslol - I picked off the Bud Light as well. No lime beers though 8-(
Did you try the Left Hand Imperial Stout? Nice. I'm hoping to get my hands on some Great Lakes Blackout.
Oskar Blues makes some great stuff. I was at the Green Frog Cafe when the rep came by - had the Ten Fiddy, Yella Pils, Old Chub and the Gordon Ale (Imperial IPA). All great representatives of the styles. They also 'play' with their recipes, which is great. For instance, they'll do a special release of their Ten-Fidy aged in an oak barrel, or a whisky barrel - they don't stand pat on their recipes.C.H.U.D.

It started around 12-1pm and I left at 1am after sampling some single malt scotch. I walked across the street to my sisters and went to bed after those.....well...I levitated across the street.Originally posted by mraynrandOriginally posted by Freak OutHere is a list of beers I tried at a recent tasting....

Finally get around to my last Freak Out beer.....very nice. I was out on the lake......can't have too many of these (10.5% ABV) with sheriffs lurking around every corner.
After lunch the players lounged about the hotel patio watching the surf fling white plumes high against the darkening sky. Clouds were piling up in the west… Vince Lombardi frowned.

You have had a Dakness already, right? It is different. It is getting closer to that time of year year again. The Darkness queue is the annual meeting for our ice house......much talk of communism and Ayn Rand.
