I suppose I have seen 10,000 movies in my lifetime and hands down my favourite was - The Shawshank Redemption (1994). This was a brilliant movie.

    Others I loved:

    1. The Deer Hunter.
    2. ZULU
    3. The Taxi Driver
    4. Apocalypse Now
    5. Bonnie and Clyde
    6. The Bridge On The River Quai
    7. Lawrence of Arabia
    8. The Night of the Hunter
    9. One Flew Over the Cookoo's Nest
    10. The Great Escape
    11. Pulp Fiction
    12. Some Like It Hot
    14. The Treasure of the Sierra Madre
    15. Unforgiven
    16. The Thing
    17. Schindler's List
    18. Planes,Trains and Automobiles
    19. The Manchurian Candidate (the Original version)
    20. In Cold Blood

    I'll stop at only 20.

Can't let this thread go any further without mentioning Steve Martin in the movie titled "The Jerk".

That is a must see film.

Capt KA, "The Jerk" is a true classic unlike the crap Steve Martin comes out in now.

                      Mulberry Drive

Just kidding that movie was a bit confusing, but damn did it have a couple of good graily scenes in it.

My favorite movie of all time has to be Pulp Fiction.

You mean Mulholland Drive, right? The one with a great Naomi Watts sex scene.

It's really hard for me to pick a "favorite of all time". It changes so much from year to year. I'd have to say "Fight Club" for how many times I've watched it and how impressed I still am by it. But newcomers such as "V for Vendetta" and "The Machinist" make me question my ranking. "Pulp Fiction" is on the list for sure.

Trying to figure out a favorite is hurting my head, so I'm going to stop.

I thought Snatch was pretty good as well.

Do you mean Mulholland Drive? Cause that movie was really hard to follow.

My favorite...I'd have to say "The Life Aquatic" really sticks out to me. That Wes Anderson can really put together a hilarious plot and the dialogue gets better every time you watch it.
