Last night's episode had some profound moments about Miles. It must have been very weird to see himself as a toddler interacting with his parents. He mentioned to Hurley that his Mom "stood behind me in the lunch line." I found that unsettling as I think most mothers would recognize their children even if it was their future child like Miles.
Miles also showed a bit of a conscience when he returned a wad of cash to the middle-aged man whose son had died. Miles had originally told his father he was able to find the feelings of his son, which was a lie. It was against Miles' character traits to seek out the man and return the money.
