Ric Ocasic was 75. Dude was a hero:

I used Cars songs for almost every different running workout in high school and college. Long slow distance "Bye Bye Love" "Moving in Stereo" what they now call tempo runs "Gimmie some slack" (and almost anything off Panorama) and race pace intervals, half mile and mile competitions: "Getting Through" "Don't cha stop" and "Candy-O." I still pace to the Cars and Blondie. Ric was the weird quirky guy and Benjamin Orr was the 'smolder guy" lol. Enough random thought. Wait, one more:

Lot of great songs on those albums, but PB, if you get to "This could be Love" on the 'Shake it up" album, be prepared for the crazy synth solo. Shocking.

      • It’s all I can do.

That was the song that got me running everyday while going through my divorce. Got me in the best shape of my life.
After lunch the players lounged about the hotel patio watching the surf fling white plumes high against the darkening sky. Clouds were piling up in the west… Vince Lombardi frowned.

Yeah no kidding right? My PR in high school was 4:45. 4:33 is “I can’t comprehend pace.” Plus the guy wasn’t even winded at the end. He’s a machine!

happiness formula is practical (and brief):

                          1. Eat right
                          2. Exercise
                          3. Get enough sleep
                          4. Imagine an incredible future
                          5. Do things you can steadily improve at
                          6. Help others
                          7. Reduce daily decisions to routine

Everyone who follows these steps to success does well.

                          1. Focus on useful education

                          3. Stay away from drugs
                          4. Don't become a parent too soon
                          5. Build a talent stack
                          6. Be "useful" to others
                          7. Favor systems over goals

I love our 2016. Best car ever. We just sold our 2004 Mazda 6 and bought my in-laws Honda Odyssey. My wife is driving it now and very much misses driving the Pilot. I am extremely confident you won't regret it.

                              • Should I add a second story to our ranch house? Does this ever NOT end in disaster? We love where we live and don't really want to move, not to mention there are no lots to really build near us in Pewaukee and stay in the school district anyway. We for sure need more space.
